On campus, we ask that you consider using our Chapel seating for the next few Sundays to allow for extra social distancing, and remind you that masks are required in all public areas. As always, please stay home and join us online if you are not feeling well and please follow recommended Covid-19 guidelines. We want Bethel to be a safe and joyful place to worship Jesus!
We have sent a church-wide email with more information from Pastor Tim and our board to help answer any questions you may have. Please check your email and contact the church office with any questions.
Bethel Church has no further comment regarding Governor Brown’s church closure mandate at this time. Our goal is to provide safe, responsible, and encouraging gatherings for our church family, both in person and online.
We pray that everyone has a safe and joyous Thanksgiving!
A Thanksgiving Message from Pastor Tim:
Masks at Bethel Church
Governor Kate Brown has declared that beginning July 1st, all Oregonians will be required to wear masks, face coverings or face shields in public indoor spaces.
Pastor Tim shares what this will mean for Bethel Church, and offers guidance from God's Word for us to keep in mind during this new requirement.
This Holiday Season we have the wonderful opportunity to share the love of Christ with members of our community in a visible way.
In a partnership with McLoughlin Middle School, Bethel Church proudly presents: The 2020 Bethel Church - Big Give!
Through this ministry, we will provide a number of McLoughlin families with a full Christmas dinner and give each child from the selected families a Christmas gift.
In the foyer you will find a Christmas tree with tags on it. Each tag represents a child and might have a suggestion for a specific item they need this season. The idea is: you take the tag and buy a gift appropriate for the child identified on the tag… wrap the gift and place the tag on the exterior so we can make sure to match the gift with the correct family. If there is no specific suggestion for a gift on the tag, please do your best to find something age appropriate for a maximum of $25 per tag.
Each gift needs to be returned to the church no later than December 9th!
In this way we can share the love of Christ by providing families in need in our community with a wonderful Christmas this year!
